Enjoy the Sumatra Pristine jungle in one day tour start from Medan city. We will pick you up from the hotel in Medan City at 5.00 AM o’clock. Then we will drive for 3 hours. Arrive in Bukit lawang by 8.oo Am. We are going to have breakfast at 8.00 am. Start the Eco friendly Jungle trekking tour into gunung leuser national park in Bukit lawang by 9.am or as soon as you are ready after breakfast.

Enjoy and Explore the diversity of the last remain Sumatra rain forest. Get lost and blending in with the nature, also learning flora and faunas. The guide will explain everything about the Sumatra rain forest and how the local use the plants to make it as a medicine. The terrain is very rugged, you must watch your step. very steep incline and decline path. Some areas you might need grab on to the trees branches and roots.

The temperature is very hot and humid. You will sweat a lot. Do the jungle trekking with your own phase. Take a breaks as much as you needed. Bring enough water for your self. lunch will be served during this tour, also with some tropical fresh fruits. This tour is private and can be customized to suit you and the family.

Tour Explain

DAY 1: PICK UP FROM THE HOTEL by 5 AM

Our driver will come to your hotel in Medan City to pick you up and drive you to Bukit Lawang. This trip will take about 3 hours. Driving through the cities and towns, the rural area with palm oil plantation along the way. Expect the traffics in the city, and the bumpy rugged road by the rural area. Catch up more sleep if possible

Arrived by 8.00 am
Breakfast time and briefing and preparation for the jungle trekking
Start the Jungle trekking trip by 9.00 am or after breakfast is done. The jungle trek will last for 6 – 7 hours. The terrain are rugged, muddy and steep incline and decline. Grab on to the roots or trees in some area. The temperature is Hot and very humid. Expect the rain at late afternoon. Lunch will be provided, tropical fresh fruit will be served during the breaks. Take the breaks as much as you need it. Do it on your own phase. You are here to enjoy the rain forest, and observing the wild life in it.
Arrived at the campsite by late afternoon. Relax by river and swim. Enjoy the coffee and tea break before the evening at the campsite in the jungle

DAY 2: JUNGLE TREKKING - HEADING BACK TO VILLAGE- DRIVE BACK TO MEDAN

Go for another jungle trekking. To day will be shorter . The jungle trek will go for another 4 hours. There is a small waterfall near by the campsite. Take a look and swim at the waterfall. Having lunch at the campsite. Indonesian food will be served with some tropical fruits. Preparation foe Tube Rafting BY the River. Transportation to get back to the village. Arrived at the village, get ready to leave Bukit lawang heading back to your nominated hotel in Medan City or Hotel Near the Airport.
