Tour Explain
Day 1: Arrival in Medan – Transfer to Bukit Lawang

Arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, Medan.

Meet & greet with local guide/driver.

Drive (~4 hours) to Bukit Lawang, a village on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park.

Stop at palm oil & rubber plantations en route.

Check-in at eco-lodge or jungle guesthouse near the Bohorok River.

Evening: Free time to relax and enjoy the riverside atmosphere.

Day 2: Local Village Tour | Bat cave | Elephant Sanctuary at Tangkahan
This is the optional what you could do on this day. The reason is that you need to get used to the tropical heat and temperature before heading to the jungle. The Local village tour and the Bat Cave tour is included in the price.
Choosing the Elephant sanctuary will make little different in price due to the transportation needed to go and return, also there is some charges to the Elephant Activity, such as bathing the elephant,walk the elephant into jungle.

Bat Cave and Landak River Trail

Stroll for 1 hour from Bukit lawang will take you to the beautiful rock formation of Bat Cave. The cave is dark, going through narrow path.
- Exploring the Cave, very sharp formation of stalactites and stalacmites. There are many Bats and Swallow Bird.

It will take about 2-3 hours to complete the cave tour.
- If you wish to continue to stroll further to the Landak river. Another smaller river with some local activities and Bordered with the Rain Forest
Sumatra Elephant Sanctuary – Tangkahan
- Start the transfer on the Off road car to Tangkahan. Drive trough the palm oil plantation for 2 hours
- Walk with the elephant tour ( If you booked it)
- Lunch at the partner Place
- Join the group for the elephant bath in the river
- Experience the sensation of Cold water mixed with Hot spring water

Day 3 – Jungle Trekking Day 1: Orangutan Spotting in Gunung Leuser Reaching the Campsite

Explore tropical rainforest and spot Sumatran orangutans, gibbons, Thomas leaf monkeys, hornbills, and other wildlife.

Picnic lunch in the jungle.

Continue trekking, deeper into the jungle. Reach the campsite by afternoon.

Day 4 Jungle Trekking – day 2: Visit the Small waterfall, packing and return to the village

Day 5: Bukit Lawang – Berastagi Transfer inland Tour

There are many mosquitos in the jungle. Make sure put on some mosquito spray or repellent. We can obtain the local mosquito repellent in any shop in Bukit lawang. The DEED max only 13%. If you need higher deed or stronger mosquito repellent, you need to obtain it yourself. There are many leeches on the swampy grassy part of the jungle floor

Batcave and Landak River: 300.000| person. It is one hour walking distance from Bukit lawang. A dark cave with very beautiful shape of stalactite and stalagmite rocks. it takes 2 hours to complete the cave tour
- Sumatra Elephant Sanctuary: Get along and participate in one of the Sumatran Elephant activity at the border of the national park Tangkahan. Walk with the elephant to the river trough the Sumatra jungle, then bath the elephant in the river. This activity is 8.30 am and 3.30 pm. For the walking and bathing the elephant, the CRU will charge for 1.000.000 IDR, 600.000 IDR for only bathing the elephant. We will organized the transport to go and back to Bukit lawang village for 1.200.000, IDR. The car fit 4px max. Lunch will be provided
- Volcano Hike Mount Sibayak – BERASTAGI: 500.000 IDR| 2px Min. You need to be in Beratagi to do this Tour. Climb a magnificent active volcano in Berastagi Region- Mount Sibayak. Suitable almost for everyone. The summit is only 2200 meter. You could do it early in the morning for the sunrise or at anytime during the day. Volcano views with many Fume Holes all over the crater. Take a dip into the Thermal bath pond at the bottom of the mountain on your way down.
