Enjoy the Sumatra Pristine jungle in one day tour start from Medan city. We will pick you up from the hotel in Medan City at 5.00 AM o’clock. Then we will drive for 3 hours. Arrive in Bukit lawang by 8.oo Am. We are going to have breakfast at 8.00 am. Start the Eco friendly Jungle trekking tour into gunung leuser national park in Bukit lawang by 9.am or as soon as you are ready after breakfast.

Enjoy and Explore the diversity of the last remain Sumatra rain forest. Get lost and blending in with the nature, also learning flora and faunas. The guide will explain everything about the Sumatra rain forest and how the local use the plants to make it as a medicine. The terrain is very rugged, you must watch your step. very steep incline and decline path. Some areas you might need grab on to the trees branches and roots.

The temperature is very hot and humid. You will sweat a lot. Do the jungle trekking with your own phase. Take a breaks as much as you needed. Berastagi to Parapat, lake toba ( Passenger Harbour). You will take the passenger boat to cross the lake to your accommodation.

Tour Explain

Day 1: Arrival in Medan – Transfer to Bukit Lawang

Arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, Medan.
Meet & greet with local guide/driver.
Drive (~4 hours) to Bukit Lawang, a village on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park.
Stop at palm oil & rubber plantations en route.
Check-in at eco-lodge or jungle guesthouse near the Bohorok River.
Evening: Free time to relax and enjoy the riverside atmosphere.

Overnight: Bukit Lawang

Day 2: Local Village Tour| Batcave and Landak River Walk

Explore the village by Tuk Tuk. Stop for the Palm Sugar Manufactures, Tofu and Tempe Process, Palm leave and Bamboo Weaving ect
Try local food for lunch.
There is a local market every Friday
Evening at leisure.

Overnight: Bukit Lawang

Day 3: Jungle Trekking – Orangutan Spotting in Gunung Leuser

Full-day jungle trek in the national park ( 6 -7 Hours )
Explore tropical rainforest and spot Sumatran orangutans, gibbons, Thomas leaf monkeys, hornbills, and other wildlife.
Picnic lunch in the jungle.
Optional tubing down the river back to the village.
Evening at leisure.

Day 4: Bukit Lawang – Berastagi Transfer | INLAND TOUR

After breakfast, depart for Berastagi (~4–5 hours drive).
En route, stop at Mount Sinabung Rest Area, Karonese Traditional Village KUTA LINGGA, GHOST VILLAGE
Visit Lumbini Natural Park, a large Buddhist temple complex.
Explore Berastagi town and Gundaling Hill for sunset views.
Visit the local market famous for passionfruit and flowers.

Overnight: Berastagi

Day 5: Sunrise Volcano hike | Sipiso piso waterfall | Lake Toba Panoramic

Early morning hike or drive to Mount Sibayak for sunrise and sulfur springs.
Optional: Soak in the hot springs after descending.
Visit the Karo People traditional village in Dokan.
Afternoon departure to Lake Toba (~4–5 hours).
Stop at Sipiso-piso Waterfall and Lake Toba viewpoint at Tongging.
Catch FERRY to cross the lake toba

Overnight: Samosir Island

Day 6: Explore Samosir Island (Lake Toba)

Visit Ambarita Village: ancient stone chairs and execution site of the Batak King.
Simanindo Cultural Show (depending on schedule).
Visit Tomok Village to see the Tomb of King Sidabutar.
Optional: Bicycle ride or relax by the lake.

Overnight: Samosir Island

Day 7: Lake Toba – Medan Airport for Departure

Free time depending on flight schedule.
Transfer to Kualanamu Airport for departure.
Morning ferry back to Parapat.
Drive back to Medan Airpot or Hotel Near Airport (~5–6 hours)
