This is a joined group tour, there might be some other guest joined the group. The minimum number of people for this  jungle trek tour is 2 people for private tour. if you are only one person, and want to do the jungle trek tour privately, then you need to pay for 2px to meet the minimum budget.

Tour Explain and Itinerary

08:30 AM – Your guide will meet you at the Meeting point ( Bamboo Restaurant Eco Lodge) or at the  guesthouse where you are staying. There will be some short briefing. You’ll begin your trek by crossing the river and entering the dense rainforest of Gunung Leuser. Dont forget to have breakfast in the morning

Morning Hike
As you ascend into the jungle, keep your eyes peeled for orangutans swinging through the trees, playful Thomas leaf monkeys, and wild macaques. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the ecosystem and the wildlife that call it home.

Lunch in the Jungle
Enjoy a delicious jungle-style lunch prepared by your guide — typically fried rice or noodles with tropical fruits.

Afternoon Trekking
Continue deeper into the forest. Trek through valleys, cross jungle streams, and pause at hidden viewpoints. Expect to hike for 5-6 hours in total, with plenty of stops for rest, wildlife spotting, and photography.

Evening Camp Setup
Arrive at the riverside campsite. Take a refreshing dip in the river or just relax with a cup of jungle tea. Your guide and porters will cook a hearty Indonesian dinner over an open fire.

Overnight Stay
Sleep in a jungle tent under mosquito nets, surrounded by the sounds of nature — a true back-to-nature experience.

07:00 AM – Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and enjoy a light breakfast. Go for a short morning walk if time permits — great for birdwatching and photography. There will be short jungle trek, around 4 hours. or you could enjoy the small waterfall near by the camp area

River Tubing Experience
Have lunch at the campsite by midday. Packing and tidy up the area. Don’t leave any garbage in the jungle. Time to leave the jungle, hop onto an inner tube raft and float down the river back to Bukit Lawang — a fun and scenic end to your jungle adventure.

12:00 PM – Arrive back in Bukit Lawang village. End of tour. Take a shower and relax or enjoy a local lunch before continuing your journey.

Go to Bukit Lawang by Public Transport

There is a bus stand at the LEFT EXIT of the AIRPORT TRAIN STATION. Choose the ALMASAR bus stand. YOu need to take this bus to MEDAN CITY ( The depot should be in PADANG BULAN near SIMPANG POS). then you need to change the bus that goes to bukit lawang from the padang bulan bus depot. This option is really cheap but too complicated take too long. Avoid it..!

 GO to Bukit Lawang by CONVENTIONAL TAXIS and ONLINE TAXIS

There are a lot of stands for online taxis on your way. Head to airport train station bulding, this is only  the way out from the main airport building. Exit to the right you will find the busess that goes to various places. Time table is applied. if you go the left you will find stands for online taxis and offline taxis with argo. There is stand for GRAB GOJEK MAXIM and BLUEBIRD. This is also a good optional way to get to bukit lawang with less hassle compared to going by bus. The assistant will help you with the online booking for the taxis. go to one of them. The rate is similiar one to the other
